NORTH MOUNTAIN PAINTBALL
and the TYRELL CORPORATION, LLC

Present

“Kelly’s Heroes: Redux”

April 25th 11am-5pm    North Mountain Paintball, Inwood, WVA.

Ever want to commit the perfect crime and get a medal for it?  Well now you can!

Loosely (really loosely) based on the movie “Kelly’s Heroes”, this game revolves around a “private venture” behind enemy lines seeking to redistribute $16 million in German gold deposits.  Specifically, said redistribution would be to Kelly and his associates  .  Ah, but guarding the golden hoard is the dreaded German General Wulfenkow from Wolf’s Lair Paintball and his elite Kommandos imported from Christiansburg, VA, for your shooting pleasure.  Will they crush the gilded dreams of our Heroes or will the ever-crafty Kelly pull a fast one?

Join the Tyrell Corporation, LLC at North Mountain Paintball as we host a six-hour scenario  game with the simple objective of “take the money and run”.  The Heroes will have to face not only the Germans, but Mulligan dropping random mortar rounds, booby traps, tanks, and a lunatic Major General Colt who wants to give everybody a medal for launching a “new offensive”.  The Germans have to defend three separate banks, run convoy missions between them, avoid Mulligan’s fire (sometimes he shoots at the enemy), and deal with idiotic orders from Berlin.

With a host of props, characters, and general silliness, we guarantee something for scenario, tournament, and newbie players alike.

Register by calling North Mountain Paintball or just show up at the field.  This is a field-paint only event.  Registration is $25 and includes all-day air.

Da Rules:

General:

This game is a “raid and defend” scenario.  The Heroes can use any of three separate insertion points (near the Village, mid-field, and in front of the Fort).  Germans have two different insertion points (Village and behind the Fort).  The Germans “own the field” and can occupy any part they want.  The Heroes will conduct raids from off-filed against three different banks containing German gold.  Each bank will have a reinforced door that will require an RPG, satchel charge or a tank round to blow open.  In addition, gold convoys will periodically move gold onto the field to these banks.  The Germans will have to defend the banks and the convoys.  The Heroes will stash any gold they capture with the Game Director off-field.

Final Battle:

There will be a 30 minute break from 3:30-4:00 for Final Battle Prep.  The Heroes will attempt to flee with their gold to Switzerland.  In order to score, the Heroes must “deposit” the gold in a container near the Fort.  Germans will defend from the Fort and surrounding area to prevent deposit.

How to Win:

Whoever has the most gold at the end of the game wins.  There is $16 million up for grabs.  The Heroes score will be taken from all deposits made during Final Battle.  The German total will be whatever remains in the banks.

Players are encouraged to develop their own characters and missions. Please see the Game Director for approval of roles and how they will fit into the game. You may also bring additional props to the game. The Game Director MUST clear all props before they can be used in the game. All rocket launchers, air cannon, tanks, and assorted types of mayhem devices MUST be approved by the Game Director.  No non-breaking trip-wires, lasers, hot-burning smoke grenades, or cattle stampedes may be used during the game.

Each side will have a “Base Umpire” who is their link with Central Command.  They will provide assistance and occasional intelligence information.  The Base Umpire can request additional supplies, fire support missions, tank support, and other goodies so be nice to them.

This game will include several spies on each side with their own separate missions.  Anyone wishing a spy role should contact the Game Director at the start of the game.  What the spies discover or fail to discover can significantly affect the game.

Tanks are allowed.  The Tyrell Corporation “Lawn Ranger” Tank will be in play running various missions for both sides.  You may bring you own tank.  ALL TANKS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE GAME DIRECTOR and Field Owner.  They must have 360 degree view, a white flag to indicate they are “out”, and move at a slow walk.  Main guns may engage other tanks with Nerf rockets, but not players.  “Shot-shells” or personnel markers from inside the tank may engage infantry.  Tanks may engage bunkers and Banks.  RPGs will be allowed with the approval of the Game Director and Field Owner ONLY.
